Q: We heard you were doing an affiliate with Selhurst Park Stadium? How can we book? Once you have booked your tour with us, within the detail of your booking confirmation email, you will receive details of how to receive money off the Sellhurt Park Crystal Park F.C. stadium tour!  A few pointers:

- We cannot take any email enquiries about this tour, please contact Sellhurst park directly on this link.

- This tour is subject to the availability of Crystal Palace & we have no control over this. This is a new affiliation as of May 2024, and we have been running for 2 years with 5 star reviews & happy guest just seeing the Richmond based locations (including the pub, bench, front door etc), so please don't let this affect your decision to book if you cannot get availability there. Otherwise we shall have to think twice about this affiliation! Richmond does not dissappoint!

You could also try taking in a match at Hayes & Yeading Football Club (Amateur Club) stadium - location for the Nelson Road practice ground & car park scenes (only the match day scenes were shot at Crystal Palace). Once again - we are a small admin team & can't respond to emails about Hayes & Yeading - please contact them directly.

Q: Where is the Tour Meeting Point?  Outside Richmond Station, to the left on exiting, right if arriving by Uber. Just outside the little WHSmith/Cards Galore Shops.  PLEASE BOOK BEFORE COMING!

(Kew Gardens station is NOT your destination - your destination is RICHMOND STATION.  off the Kew Road!  Put this into your GPS it will come up instantly. If you need a postcode it is TW9 2NA)

Q Which station in Richmond? There is ONLY ONE Richmond station and ALL the lines go there: tube, overground  & national rail, even though I am told it looks not so on a map? You don't need a postcode for your uber & don't use the one listed on Google simple get them to put in 'Richmond Station'.

Q: How long does it take to get to Richmond from central London? 20 mins from Waterloo, 40 mins from central London on the tube, but allow an hour at least, if not 1hr 15. You can find out how to get anywhere from anywhere in the world, by using the Google Maps 'Directions' function, or Citymapper.

Q: Are there any things to note? Yes. Please bear in mind that Richmond is a small borough of London, an actual working town & not a film set. The small town where Schitt's Creek was filmed is trying to. ban tourists.  Please be respectful. For example, our pavements in London are VERY narrow. If you are taking pictures - look around you, can prams & older people get past you? Just be aware the tour progresses through a busy working town.

Q. Where does the tour finish? The tour ends outside Ted's Pub, The Princes Head.

Q: How long does the tour last? 2hrs - 2hrs 20. If you are eating at the special Ted Table in the Princes Head allow another hour or so.

Q: Can I change my pick up to my residence? Unfortunately not. We have honed & tailored our route to allow maximum Lasso locations bang for your buck. So in order to see it all, we need to start at the meeting point: Richmond station.

Q: How do I book Ted's Pub for dinner? Please head over to https://www.princeshead.co.uk/ to book your table at Ted's Pub. Booking is advisable, especially at weekend's or public holidays. Please note the FAQs above for what time to book - allow 2.15 hours for your tour.

If you want the Ted Memorabilia table, please note this is subject to availability even if booking a year in advance. Follow these instructions to be in with a better chance.

1- In the FIRST NAME BOOKING FIELD - please write your own full  family name.  2 - In the FAMILY NAME/SURNAME field write 'ON EMMY'S TED TOUR'. 3 - IN the notes section write 'TED LASSO MEMORABILIA TABLE PLEASE'.

If you have any queries about the above, please contact  the pub directly, as we are not in charge of bookings.  We also cannot guarantee you this table, as it is at the pub's discretion.

Q: If I book a private tour, is the time my own? Recently we have noticed one or two families wanting to go to the pub early for 30 mins, or sit down with ice cream with the kids for 20 mins. Your time in Richmond is your own, of course. However, to avoid sticky situations, as per the Q above, we wish to say in advance that this will mean we will need to miss out certain other locations to accommodate these stops, as your tour is 2-2.25 hours. We advise taking advatage of Richmond's fabulous ice cream shop (30 secs walk from tour end point), or a pint at Ted's Pub (the actual end point), after your tour.

Q: Can I take pictures? In short yes! However please bear in mind that these are people's homes. Please stay where your guide is stood & don't cross the road to the steps of Rebecca's (as an example). Please bear in mind to keep up with the group on a group tour.  If you wish to recreate whole scenes with Photos etc, please book a private tour.  Please don't take pictures of your guide  (it is a legality).

Q: Is there anywhere we can store our bags? Not with us directly unfortunately. There is the Bounce, luggage storage app, and I am aware they have a place in central Richmond at a dry cleaners, close to tour start point, but we do not know their opening hours etc as they are changeable, a third party company, and their operations decisions are not in our control. In short the businesss cannot take responsibility for the storage or safety of luggage during your tour.  We cannot answer questions about the Bounce app either - please contact their customer service department with any queries.

Q Any lunch, breafast & light bite reccommendations? Absolutely! We love the cosy, friendly, quintessentially English charm of Butter Beans Cafe  just a few doors down to the right (if exiting station) from our tour meeting point of Richmond station. Truly a locals cafe, selling traditional English fry ups, wraps, juices, coffees etc - apparently Brendan Hunt (Coach Beard) was also a fan!

Q Any dinner reccommendations?  Aside from Gastropub The Princes Head, (Ted's Pub), The Ivy for a big budget, Tapas Brindisa or Piccolo Vicolo (the wonderful Hercules cooks all including pasta from scratch!) for mid budget & Pizza Portofino for budget (Say Hi to Jamie for me!)

Q Any hotel reccommendations? We fully reccommend staying in Richmond - we are a borough of LONDON! - and taking the train 20-37 mins into the centre - you will appreciate the beauty & the quiet! Many people wish they had done this once coming to do their tour.

 The Harbour Hill Hotel/Richmond HIll Hotel (FABULOUS spa with outdoor Swedish hot tubs!) for a top budget, The Orange Tree for mid budget (the rooms here are stunning & quintissentially Engish if you are not a "hotel-is-not-a-4*-hotel-without-a-hottub-&-pool" person like Emmy, & the Travelodge for a budget stay, (the latter 2 are very near the tour start).

Q How far is Richmond from Heathrow Airport? 25 mins drive approximately, but allow 45 at least if you are catching a flight.

Q How big is the group tour? On average 15 people, sometimes rising to 25 in peak periods: July, August, Thanksgiving, Easter & Christmas. I can never guarantee a number, so if this concerns you please book a private tour.

Q Where is Parking in Richmond? I am not a driver so please double check this - Richmond station & Paradise Road.

Q What should I wear? NOT your best date night shoes or white trainers! It gets very muddy on Richmond green post rain - which is often of course! Check the weather and bring brollies & raincmacs if the forecast is rainy.

Q: Can I get a refund?   If you need to contact us for a refund PLEASE EMAIL booking@tedlassotour.com, please don't call - phone number is for on-the-day emergencies. Our refund policy is detailed in your booking email. However, we do not offer refunds if Transport for London messes up your journey. This is why we advise allowing 1.5 hours for a 40 min journey, or an extra half hour if arriving by uber, due to frequent cancellations, and to check 'TFL Updates' for frequent weekend line closures. We lose money as a business from someone who could have had the spot, & we are a very small, local business.  Please plan plan plan your journey!

Q: So if I am late, that's it? No! We will wait for you on a private tour. However, your tour lasts 2 hours & so we may have to miss out one or two locations. On a Sunday group tour, we provide late catch up points for you (I can't pick up the phone once the tour starts). Please note these are not exact times as we cannot predict the walking speed of the group. The points are listed as 'from' 40 minutes, not that we will definitely be there at that exact time. Most tour companies, especially the biggies, will not provide any late catch up points at all, so please bear this in mind when using them & saying hello when your guide arrives. For obvious reasons, these points are listed after booking & we don't give these out if you ask pre-booking.

Q I saw on your Instagram that guests met Nick Mohammed (Nathan) & Cristo Fernandez (Danny Rojas)! Will I get to meet them on my tour? Unfortunately likely not! These were one off chance meetings! Cross your fingers & toes!

Q If we bump into any of the actors, is there any protocol? Yes, absolutely. We understand that guests get excited by this & want to meet their heroes. However, your guide will walk ahead to a spot to wait for you, and will not be approaching them with you. We ask that you are respectful, in terms of interrupting whatever it is they are doing, & we ask that you don't mention that you are "on a /The Ted Tour". We do have our reasons for this that we will not bore you with here, In short, please do not do anything you would not want, if you were a human being with a public profile.  Please also don't (very obviously) take a picture of them without their prior permission. We thankyou for your patience & understandng in this matter. It's very rare we will see them however, as said, as only one lives in the borough!

Q. Anything else to note?

We want to draw guest's attention to a particular T&C detailed in our booking email. When booking with The Original Ted Tour you are also agreeing not to record or take notes on your tour, or to set up , or go on to be employed by any other future or existing Ted tour  (showcasing EXTERIOR  publicly owned locations of the TV show Ted Lasso) anywhere in the United Kingdom or The Netherlands.  This includes anybody working for an official Warner Brothers licensed endeavor or outlet.  Warner Brothers are well aware of our existence as an unofficial fan tour, and we take great care to respect the boundaries of their IP.

This tour has been created from scratch, by a local resident & is operated & ran by a single parent family. As such, we ask that any registered 'Blue Badge Tour Guides' do not use our tour to gain knowledge to use with their own future clients (this has happened a few times now and is VERY un-Ted behaviour!) Blue Badge guides, high profile vloggers & journalists will therefore be asked to sign an NDA by The Original Ted Tour in addition.
